Ready, set, RACE! The fun continues as the College of Science brings more excitement to the 𝗘𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 through the 𝐀𝐦𝐚𝐳𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐑𝐚𝐜𝐞: 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠!

Today was filled with fun challenges, teamwork, and friendly competition as participants put their speed, strategy, and cooperation to the test. From solving challenges to working together as a team, everyone brought their energy and determination to make this activity a memorable one! 💪✨

COSmates and COS Delegates enjoyed a sweet treat earlier today as the 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥 (𝐂𝐎𝐒-𝐒𝐂) prepared free ice cream for them during the 𝗘𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲. This morning, our participants gathered at Geology Room 9 & 10 to paint their own tote bags for 𝗘𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲. It was a fun and creative morning where everyone turned plain tote bags into colorful designs with a message for our planet.

The event started with a logo-making activity for 𝐑𝐀𝐘𝐓 (Rising Alliance of Youth for Transformation), where participants shared their creative ideas. After that, they painted their own tote bags with designs and messages for a greener planet.

ParSU Angat Gen-C also took the time to discuss what the organization is all about and what it does. The activity ended with the awarding of certificates of participation, and each participant took home their painted tote bag as a token.

Thank you to everyone who joined and made this activity a success! Special thanks to 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐒𝐔 𝐀𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐭 𝐆𝐞𝐧-𝐂 for facilitating the activity and providing all the materials.

The 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 (𝐂𝐎𝐒), 𝐭𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐒𝐔 𝐀𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐭 𝐆𝐞𝐧-𝐂 𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐬 has successfully wrapped up its 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻-𝗨𝗽 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲, demonstrating teamwork, cooperation, and a shared commitment to maintaining a clean and healthy environment.

Through the collective efforts of our students and organization officers, we took another step toward preventing dengue by keeping our surroundings clean and eliminating potential mosquito breeding sites.

‎This initiative promotes 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗵𝘆𝗴𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗲, 𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗴𝗺𝗮 surrounding menstruation, and fosters a 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀.🌸

The event is formally commenced with an informative and interactive 𝗦𝗰𝗶-𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗸 led by our esteemed guest, 𝗠𝗮'𝗮𝗺 𝗤𝘂𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗲 𝗔𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗼𝗻, 𝐆𝐞𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐬𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐃𝐄𝐍𝐑 𝐂𝐄𝐍𝐑𝐎 𝐆𝐨𝐚, 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 𝐒𝐮𝐫, who discussed climate-related concerns and the importance of scientific knowledge in understanding and addressing environmental challenges.

The opening program was then followed by an 𝗘𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗲𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗲 between the respective representatives of the 𝐁𝐢𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝐮𝐩𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐧𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐞𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝐝𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐚𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞. Through evidence-based arguments and meaningful exchanges of perspectives, both teams displayed their knowledge and critical thinking in addressing pressing environmental issues that concerns our planet.

For the afternoon, events included the 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗤𝘂𝗶𝘇 𝗕𝗲𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲, which covered various topics related to 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 and tested the participants' knowledge and understanding of scientific concepts. This was then followed by the 𝗦𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗮𝗻-𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁, held at the 𝐏𝐡𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐜𝐬 𝐋𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲, in which 𝑨𝒓𝒕 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑺𝒄𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒉𝒖𝒔𝒊𝒂𝒔𝒕𝒔 expressed their creativity and scientific awareness through their meaningful entries.

The first day of the 𝗘𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 concluded with insightful discussions, engaging academic competitions, and meaningful exchanges that emphasize the importance of scientific knowledge, environmental awareness, and creativity in advancing science for climate action.
