The Agriculture Student Council proudly presents the new set of officers for Academic Year 2026–2027.

A new chapter begins with new faces, fresh ideas, and a shared commitment to serve the Agriculture community. With every responsibility comes an opportunity to learn, lead, and contribute to something bigger than ourselves.

This year, the ASC steps forward not simply as a council, but as a community working together, turning ideas into action, challenges into opportunities, and small efforts into meaningful change.

𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗟 𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗢𝗘𝗦 𝗗𝗔𝗬

Today, August 31, we remember the brave spirit and remarkable legacy of those who fought in the past.

As much as we honor them, we also pay our respects to the heroes of our modern day, those who continue to serve, sacrifice, and contribute to the welfare of others and the betterment of our society. Their courage and bravery remind us that heroism lives not only in the pages of history, but also in the everyday acts of service, integrity, and love for our nation.

Signed into law by former President Gloria Macapagal–Arroyo, Republic Act No. 9492 designates the last Monday of August every year as a regular holiday in honor and commemoration of National Heroes' Day.

As we commemorate their remarkable legacy, may we embody the same spark of patriotism in defending our nation and willingly stand for the truth.

𝗥𝗢𝗢𝗧𝗘𝗗 𝗜𝗡 𝗦𝗘𝗥𝗩𝗜𝗖𝗘 | 𝗔𝗴𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 𝗘𝗮𝗿𝗻𝘀 𝗙𝘂𝗹𝗹 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

The 𝗔𝗴𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 (𝗔𝗦𝗖) has officially earned 𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 for Academic Year 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲–𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟳, as certified by the West Visayas State University-College of Agriculture and Forestry, Office of Student Affairs (OSA).

The Certificate of Registration/Accreditation recognizes the Agriculture Student Council as a non-profit organization duly accredited by the University, following scrutiny and verification in accordance with WVSU policies and guidelines for student organizations.

Valid from August 3, 2026 to May 31, 2027, this accreditation marks another milestone for the council in representing the students of the College of Agriculture.

Rooted in agriculture, the ASC represents the students of the College of Agriculture through leadership, service, and excellence. Together, we work to build a stronger student community and prepare future agriculturists to contribute to the agricultural sector.

𝑴𝑨𝑳𝑰𝑮𝑨𝒀𝑨𝑵𝑮 𝑷𝑨𝑮𝑩𝑨𝑻𝑰!

Ang Agriculture Student Council ay naghahatid ng pagbati ng maligayang kaarawan sa aming pinakamamahal at respetadong tagapangulo, G. Ronald Jr. C. Mallo.

Mula pagkabata, nasa puso na niya ang dagitab para subukan ang tinta ng kanyang panulat, naging inspirasyon, motibasyon, at maagang namulat sa mundo ng pamamahayag.

Sa pagmulat mo, sa talukap ng iyong mga mata, kasabay nito ang mainit na paghalik ni Haring Araw. Sa tila antok mong mga pisngi, dagitab ng serbisyo sa iyong mga kamag-aral ay nakikita.

Sa aming tagapangulo, maligayang kaarawan! Hangad namin na ipagpatuloy mo ang serbisyo, inspirasyon, at pusong nagsisilbing gabay sa mga estudyante sa West Visayas State University College of Agriculture and Forestry.

The Agriculture Student Council (ASC) recognizes the exemplary performance of our own faculty members of the West Visayas State University College of Agriculture and Forestry- College of Agriculture.

The College of Agriculture faculty members were recognized for their outstanding teaching performance through the Excellence in Teaching Award for Academic Year 2025–2026, presented today, August 10, 2026.

The recognition is given to faculty members who achieved outstanding rankings in the Faculty Evaluation Results, commending their commitment to academic excellence and their passion to create meaningful and engaging learning experiences for students.

This award showcases their continued pursuit of excellence in teaching and their valuable contribution to shaping future professionals in agriculture.
