Upholding Dignity and Advancing Equality

The West Visayas State University – College of Agriculture and Forestry, in partnership with the Agriculture Student Council and the Gender and Development Office, proudly joins the 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women (VAW) starting November 25, 2026 to December 12, 2026, with the theme “UNiTEd for a VAW-Free Philippines.”

In line with this, a Flag-Raising Ceremony and Convocation Activity will be held on November 9, 2026, in support of the campaign’s commitment to raising awareness and strengthening collective efforts to prevent and eliminate all forms of violence against women and girls.

This initiative underscores the WVSU-CAF’s commitment to promoting gender equality, upholding human rights, and fostering a safe, inclusive, and violence-free environment for all. Through collective action, awareness, and shared responsibility, we can contribute to building a society where women and girls are empowered, protected, and treated with dignity and respect.

Let us unite in advancing this advocacy and reaffirm our commitment to a violence-free and gender-responsive community.
