The Civil Engineering and Architecture Department of the School of Engineering, Computing, and Architecture (SECA) conducted a courtesy visit to the DTI Bureau of Philippine Standards Testing Laboratory (BPSTL) in Dasmariñas, Cavite.

The visit included an exploratory meeting to discuss potential partnerships, future collaborative activities, and opportunities to expand the college’s research domains.

This initiative reinforces SECA’s commitment to strengthening industry and government linkages, fostering research collaboration, and advancing academic excellence through meaningful partnerships.

The School of Engineering, Computing, and Architecture participates in CHED AI Futures 2026: Shaping AI-Enabled Higher Education, held on October 19–21, 2026, at Luxent Hotel, Quezon City.

The zonal public hearing and consultation focuses on the proposed Policies, Standards, and Guidelines (PSGs) for undergraduate and graduate Artificial Intelligence programs, as well as the updated PSGs for Information Technology and Engineering. This initiative provides an opportunity to contribute to discussions on the future direction of AI-enabled higher education in the Philippines.

Through this engagement, SECA reaffirms its commitment to developing future-ready academic programs that embrace technological advancements, promote responsible AI integration, and equip graduates with the competencies needed to thrive in an increasingly digital and innovative world.
