𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗟𝗔𝗦𝗘𝗥 𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗔𝗥𝗬 𝗙𝗢𝗟𝗜𝗢 𝗜 𝗣𝗔𝗚𝗨𝗞𝗣𝗢𝗞

There are songs that are never forgotten.

Not because they were written in books, but because they were carried by voices, by memory, and by the heartbeat of generations before us. Katutubong awit—ancient melodies born from rivers, mountains, rituals, and longing—continue to echo through time, reminding us of who we are beneath the noise of the modern world.

Every chant is a story of resistance. Every rhythm is a pulse of truth. Every pagukpok is a call to awaken the spirit of culture, identity, and remembrance. And in that resonance, we rediscover the soul of the Filipino.

This is PAGUKPOK: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗔𝗦𝗘𝗥 𝗟𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗙𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗼 XIV: Volume I offered by the Official Publication of Batangas State University, The NEU – JPLPC-Malvar Campus.

Pakinggan ang himig ng nakaraan, damhin ang dagundong ng kasalukuyan. Let the resonance of our katutubong awit live on.
