📝 NURSES’ NOTES: Feature Story |𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝘼𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙤𝙢𝙮 𝙤𝙛 𝙖 𝙒𝙞𝙡𝙡 📰🗞️

"Failure is never an identity—it is simply the raw material of a triumph."

In 1999, an unpassed board exam threatened to extinguish her dream. For the next 13 years, Nancy V. Holdsworth worked as a medical secretary, a domestic worker, and a nanny in Abu Dhabi and London. She cared for families abroad while holding onto her ambition. Between 2018 and 2021, she worked as a healthcare assistant while completing her university nursing degree in London.

Today, Nurse Nancy stands as a Junior Sister in a London Pediatric Burns Unit. Her story is the ultimate embodiment of BayanihaNars and collective resilience.

Did you know, future nurses? Let’s discover an important milestone in nursing education as we celebrate Nurses’ Week 2026!
FAITH Colleges has been granted Level I Accredited Status by the Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation (PACUCOA) and the Federation of Accrediting Agencies of the Philippines (FAAP).

𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭, 𝐰𝐞 𝐜𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐚 𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝. 💙

𝗠𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸 (𝗠𝗛𝗔𝗪) 𝗠𝗛𝗔𝗪 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 was more than seminars and programs — it was about pausing, listening, and reminding each other that it's okay to not be okay. We saw what care looks like when a community truly shows up. 🫂

Every Child is Unique, Every Child is Special! 💗🌈

Last October 23, 2026, 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗟𝗜𝗞𝗛𝗔 brought a day filled with fun, creativity, and meaningful connections to the wonderful children of 𝗧𝗮𝗻𝗮𝘂𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 in celebration of Mental Health Awareness Week. This memorable experience celebrated the uniqueness of every child, their individual talents, different ways of expressing themselves, and the beautiful personalities that make them who they are. Each child has their own strengths, dreams, and ways of seeing the world, and every one deserves to be appreciated, understood, and given the opportunity to shine.

Being different is something to celebrate, not something that separates us. Every child deserves a safe space to express themselves, the freedom to explore their abilities, and encouragement to grow at their own pace. Project LIKHA became a reminder that inclusion begins when we appreciate each child for who they are and recognize the beauty they bring to the world. Together, let us continue creating spaces where every child belongs, every ability is celebrated, and every heart is understood. 💗🎨

To our little stars, you are special in your own way. Your abilities are worth celebrating, your voices deserve to be heard, and your differences make you wonderfully unique.
