The Supreme Student Government acts as a liaison between the student body and the school: upholds the students' welfare, rights and responsibilities, and represents their interest. 𝑴𝒂𝒌𝒆 𝒂 𝒃𝒆𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝒑𝒍𝒂𝒄𝒆 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒎𝒆 ⭐

This day, October 24, 2026, marks the 81𝐬𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐲 of the 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 ever since entering into force in 1945. Observed annually across the globe, this celebration provides opportunities to reaffirm our commitment to the purpose and principles of the UN Charter, which has guided the international organization in their pursuit of 𝙥𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙚, 𝙟𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙚, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙚𝙦𝙪𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙮 for eight long decades.

81 years ago, the founding Charter of the United Nations was signed and promulgated, allowing the United Nations to come into existence, with the Philippines being one of its first 193 members. Since its establishment, the UN has been working to promote peace, human rights and social progress, and create better living for people everywhere. 🕊️

Today, they stand as a significant ground for dialogue where the world’s nations can come together and peacefully discuss and navigate problems with one another. Despite challenges that the UN has faced over the years, they continue to evolve and keep up with the current crises to maintain 𝙥𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙡𝙙.

There is no other global organization in the world that has the same power, influence, and impact that the United Nations currently has on global progress. But let us remember that 𝐛𝐢𝐠 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐬 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐬𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐥 and reflect on this celebration as an opportunity to contribute to the greater good and maintain peace in little ways.

As we move forward, may we continue to live out the objectives of the United Nations and make the world a better place, united by the goals and our shared dignity for generations to come. 🩵💫

The Adamson University - Senior High School Supreme Student Government (AdU-SHS SSG) has formally submitted a letter to the BED Administration regarding the concerns raised by students about the upcoming Final-Term Examinations scheduled for October 26–28, 2026.

The concerns include the number of examinations scheduled per day, overlapping academic requirements that limit review time, and the challenges students face in understanding lessons while managing their academic workload.

The SSG remains committed to voicing student concerns through proper channels and fostering clear communication between the student body and the Administration.

Further updates will be provided once an official response or decision is received from the Administration.

The AdU-SHS SSG has received the BED Administration’s response to the concerns raised by the student body regarding academic workloads, research defense schedules, and subject requirements.

The Administration confirmed that:

𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗗𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗲𝘀: The schedule has been moved from 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟮–𝟭𝟲 𝘁𝗼 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟱–𝟮𝟬, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲. Further extensions will not be possible due to school calendar constraints and external panelists’ availability.

𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝘂𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴: Manuscripts submitted beyond the original 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟲–𝟳, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 deadline were accepted. Research advisers have also been reminded to provide timely and constructive guidance.

𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗿𝗮𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 1: The floor plan and roof plan will not need to be resubmitted as separate outputs for the Final Term Assessment.

𝗘𝘅𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗗𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗿𝗮𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 1:

• 𝗙𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗿 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻: October 20, 2026 for Monday and Tuesday (MT) classes and October 22, 2026 for Thursday and Friday (THF) classes
• 𝗥𝗼𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻: October 28, 2026 for all concerned classes
• 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗤𝘂𝗶𝘇𝘇𝗲𝘀: October 20 and 23, 2026 as previously announced

𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗹𝗼𝗮𝗱: Faculty members have been reminded to coordinate major assessments to help manage overlapping requirements. 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗹𝘀𝗼 𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗰𝗸 𝗕𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗯𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.

The SSG also submitted additional concerns regarding sudden task instructions, limited time to complete requirements, inconsistent deadline flexibility across sections, and student stress caused by overlapping academic demands.

In response, the Administration outlined the following measures for TechPro subjects, including Technical Drafting, Programming, Adult Caregiving, and ICT:

October 19, 2025: Assessment Output 2 (A2)
October 22, 2026: Assessment Output 3 (A3)

• 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘂𝗯𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲: October 28, 2026 is the final cutoff for all TechPro output submissions.

The SSG extends its appreciation to the Administration for considering the concerns raised by the student body. The SSG likewise thank the student body for trusting the SSG to bring their concerns forward through the proper channels.

The Adamson University–Senior High School Supreme Student Government (AdU-SHS SSG) acknowledges the disclosure of identifying details in the recently published letter regarding student grievances on academic workload, research defense schedules, and subject requirements.

The SSG recognizes its responsibility to maintain the confidentiality of information entrusted to us and uphold the principles of the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173). We take full accountability for including details that could potentially identify individuals. We recognize that we failed to exercise the necessary care in protecting the privacy of those involved, and we deeply regret this lapse.

We sincerely apologize to the students and faculty members affected by this incident and acknowledge the concern and discomfort it may have caused. We recognize the trust students place in us when they share their concerns and deeply regret failing to exercise the necessary care in handling the information entrusted to us.

In response, the SSG commits to reviewing and strengthening its procedures for receiving, handling, reviewing, and publishing documents containing student grievances to prevent similar incidents from happening again.

We are grateful for the continued trust of the AdU-SHS community and hope to maintain that trust through responsible and accountable service. We take full responsibility for this incident and reaffirm our commitment to protecting student privacy, maintaining accountability, and upholding the trust of the student body.

𝐒𝐒𝐆 𝐔𝐏𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐒 | 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐬 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐜 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐥𝐨𝐚𝐝, 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐃𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐞 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐥𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐮𝐛𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬

On October 14, 2026, the Adamson University–Senior High School Supreme Student Government (AdU-SHS SSG) formally raised concerns with the Administration regarding the academic workload, research defense schedule, and subject requirements reported by students through the official SSG Grievance Form.

The concerns primarily involve:

• Overlapping deadlines and major academic requirements across different subjects
• Limited preparation time for research defenses and other major assessments
• Requests for extensions and schedule adjustments to allow students to produce quality outputs
• Concerns regarding research guidance, timely feedback, consultation opportunities, and clear communication of assessment requirements

In response to these concerns, the SSG respectfully proposed a reassessment of the research defense schedule, a review of selected academic deadlines, better coordination of major requirements where feasible, and clearer communication regarding performance tasks and examinations.

The SSG recognizes the importance of academic standards and institutional deadlines. However, it also emphasizes the need to consider students’ preparation time, learning experiences, and well-being to help ensure that academic requirements can be fulfilled under reasonable conditions.

The SSG remains committed to voicing student concerns through proper channels and fostering clear communication between the student body and the Administration.

Further updates will be provided once an official response or decision is received from the Administration.
