This October, we honor the Indigenous Peoples of the Philippines, whose rich cultures, traditions, and ancestral wisdom continue to shape our national identity.

Beyond celebrating their heritage, let us recognize their contributions, respect their rights, listen to their voices, and support their efforts to preserve their communities and traditions for future generations. Their stories are not merely part of our history, they remain an essential part of who we are as Filipinos.

May we continue to foster a culture of respect, understanding, and appreciation for the diverse communities that enrich our nation. In honoring our Indigenous Peoples, we honor the roots, identity, and soul of the Filipino nation.
