𝗧𝗪𝗢 𝗗𝗘𝗖𝗔𝗗𝗘𝗦, 𝗢𝗡𝗘 𝗟𝗘𝗚𝗔𝗖𝗬!✨
From its humble beginnings in 2006 to the organization we celebrate today, the 𝐏𝐇𝐈𝐋𝐈𝐏𝐏𝐈𝐍𝐄 𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐓𝐔𝐓𝐄 𝐎𝐅 𝐂𝐈𝐕𝐈𝐋 𝐄𝐍𝐆𝐈𝐍𝐄𝐄𝐑𝐒 (𝐏𝐈𝐂𝐄) - 𝐒𝐌𝐂 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 has built a legacy that continues to inspire generations of future civil engineers.
Before the name 𝐏𝐈𝐂𝐄-𝐀𝐂𝐄𝐒 became part of our identity, there was 𝐏𝐈𝐂𝐄-𝐒𝐌𝐂 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫, the foundation on which today's organization stands. It started small, with limited resources, simple activities, and specially students who shared one goal where to build a community for future civil engineers where they could learn, grow, and support one another.
Over the years, different generations of officers and members dedicated their time and effort to keep the organization alive. Each leader contributed something meaningful, helping the chapter grow one step at a time. Many of those who once served as student leaders are now licensed civil engineers, carrying the lessons and values they gained from their time in the organization into their professional lives.
Thanks to their dedication and the legacy they left behind, what once began with small gatherings has grown into an organization that continues to hold successful and memorable activities, such as 𝘾𝙀 𝙏𝙖𝙥𝙤𝙠, 𝙋𝙄𝘾𝙀 𝘿𝙖𝙮, 𝙋𝙞𝙣𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘾𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙢𝙤𝙣𝙮, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙃𝙖𝙧𝙙 𝙃𝙖𝙩𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜. These milestones remind us that every achievement today is built upon the efforts of those who came before us.
As our adviser hopes, may there be more civil engineering passers in the coming years, 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞 among future civil engineers, and 𝐚 𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 that remains even after we finish our studies. 🫱🏻🫲🏼
As we celebrate 𝟮𝟬 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀, we honor not only the organization we have today but also the people, sacrifices, and memories that made it possible. 𝐏𝐈𝐂𝐄-𝐀𝐂𝐄𝐒 stands as a continuation of a legacy that began with 𝐏𝐈𝐂𝐄-𝐒𝐌𝐂 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫, 𝐚 𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐜𝐲 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞, 𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐩𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞.
