UCA CONNECT | Green Thumb: Seminar on Gardening

On October 10, 2026, UCA Connect, in partnership with Green Thumb Agricultural Farm, successfully conducted a specialized seminar on Dragon Fruit and Ube Planting at United Christian Academy, with Mr. Juanito Andal, Proprietor of Green Thumb, as the resource speaker.

The seminar provided participants with valuable insights into sustainable agriculture, including:
• High-yield planting techniques
• Effective crop management strategies
• The commercial potential of in-demand local crops

As a special treat, Green Thumb generously distributed free seeds to the attendees, encouraging them to apply what they learned and begin their own planting journey.

UCA Connect extends its heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Juanito Andal and the Green Thumb for sharing their expertise, supporting agricultural education, and inspiring our community to embrace sustainable and productive gardening practices.

Together, let us continue growing knowledge, nurturing skills, and planting seeds for a greener future!
