The College of Criminology of San Carlos College successfully conducted its 𝑺𝒆𝒏𝒅-𝑶𝒇𝒇 𝑪𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒎𝒐𝒏𝒚 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒕𝒉𝒆 4𝒕𝒉 𝒀𝒆𝒂𝒓 𝑺𝒕𝒖𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝑰𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒏𝒔, with the theme: “𝑭𝒓𝒐𝒎 𝑳𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒐 𝑳𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒉𝒊𝒑: 𝑬𝒎𝒑𝒉𝒂𝒔𝒊𝒛𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑱𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒏𝒆𝒚 𝒇𝒓𝒐𝒎 𝑨𝒄𝒂𝒅𝒆𝒎𝒊𝒄 𝑺𝒕𝒖𝒅𝒚 𝒕𝒐 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒇𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍 𝑺𝒆𝒓𝒗𝒊𝒄𝒆.”

The meaningful ceremony commenced with the Entrance of the Colors and Royal Guards, setting the tone for an inspiring celebration of the students’ transition from academic learning to professional practice.

The event was further honored by the inspiring message delivered by our 𝐆𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐇𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐫, 𝐏𝐂𝐌𝐒 𝐑𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐨 𝐂. 𝐀𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐨, whose words of wisdom and encouragement served as a source of motivation for the student interns as they embark on this significant chapter of their journey.

Adding pride and spirit to the occasion, Class 𝐓𝐈𝐊𝐀𝐒 𝐒𝐈𝐆𝐋𝐀𝐓 presented their ceremonial “𝐏𝐀𝐒𝐀𝐌𝐀𝐒𝐈𝐃”, followed by an energetic intermission dance that brought excitement and enthusiasm to the celebration.

As these future criminology professionals embark on their internship journey, the ceremony served as a reminder of the responsibility that comes with transforming academic knowledge into meaningful professional service. Their internship represents not only an opportunity to apply the competencies they have developed but also a chance to strengthen their character, discipline, leadership, and commitment to public service.

The Basic Education Department of San Carlos College conducted its 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝗢𝘂𝘁 𝗗𝗮𝘆, 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 on September 30, 2026. The occasion served as a meaningful opportunity to recognize the academic progress, accomplishments, and dedication of our learners throughout the term 1 of Academic Year 2026-2027.

The activity was graced by the presence and guidance of our Principal, 𝗗𝗿. 𝗠𝗶𝗹𝗴𝗮𝗿𝗼𝘀 𝗕. “Illuminating the Future: A Commitment to Teach, Inspire, and Serve”

With hearts filled with gratitude, pride, and renewed commitment, the San Carlos College recently concluded its meaningful 𝐏𝐫𝐞-𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬’ 𝐏𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐥𝐞 𝐋𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐲, last September 29, 2026, celebrating a significant milestone in the journey of its future educators.

The program commenced with a solemn Thanksgiving Mass presided over by 𝗥𝗲𝘃. 𝗙𝗿. 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗼 𝗩. 𝗔𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗼, setting a reflective and prayerful atmosphere for the meaningful celebration that followed.

The ceremony continued with a dignified processional, featuring the School Colors, Pre-Service Teachers accompanied by their respective guardians, the SCC faculty and staff, and the Guest of Honor and Speaker. The presence of families, mentors, and members of the academic community made the occasion even more significant as the pre-service teachers formally embraced another step toward their chosen profession.

The program was further enriched by the inspiring and meaningful message of the Guest of Honor and Speaker, 𝗗𝗿. 𝗥𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘆 𝗙. 𝗦𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗼, 𝗗𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆–𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗻 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀. His insights and words of wisdom encouraged the pre-service teachers to uphold the values of excellence, dedication, and integrity as they prepare to enter the noble profession of teaching.

The success and meaningful journey of the pre-service teachers would not be possible without the guidance, leadership, and unwavering support of the 𝗗𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗗𝗿. 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗰𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗠. 𝗘𝗿𝗾𝘂𝗶𝘇𝗮, whose commitment to academic excellence and student development continues to inspire future educators to pursue their goals and become competent, compassionate, and dedicated professionals.

An inspirational message from the 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝗠𝗿. 𝗘𝗱𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗗. 𝗨𝗻𝘀𝗼𝗻, was conveyed through 𝗠𝘀. 𝗔𝗹𝗺𝗮 𝗗. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘇, 𝗔𝗱𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿. His message served as a reminder of the institution’s continued support and confidence in the future educators.

The Pinning and Candle Lighting Ceremony symbolized more than an academic milestone. The pin represented the responsibility and commitment that come with the teaching profession, while the lighted candle symbolized the knowledge, passion, compassion, and hope that each future teacher is called to carry and share with others.

As they continue their journey, may our pre-service teachers remain committed to the calling embodied in this year’s theme—to Teach with purpose, Inspire with passion, and Serve with compassion.

Higit pa sa isang pang-akademikong gawain, naging makabuluhang karanasan ang pagtatanghal upang higit na maunawaan ng mga mag-aaral ang kahalagahan ng sining bilang paraan ng pagpapahayag at komunikasyon. Sa kanilang pagganap, naipakita nila kung paano maaaring pagsamahin ang iba’t ibang elemento ng sining upang makabuo ng isang malikhaing produksyon na nagbibigay-buhay sa mga kuwento at mensaheng nais nilang iparating sa kanilang mga manonood.

Sa pamamagitan ng gawaing ito, higit na nahubog ang kumpiyansa sa sarili, pagkamalikhain, pakikipagtulungan, pagpapahalaga sa sining, at kakayahang magpahayag ng mga mag-aaral. Ang Musical Theatrical Play ay naging isang makabuluhang pagkakataon upang maipakita ng mga kabataan ang kanilang potensiyal bilang mga malikhaing indibidwal at bilang bahagi ng isang komunidad na nagpapahalaga sa sining at kultura.
