𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗢𝗜, 𝗩𝗜𝗘𝗧𝗡𝗔𝗠 | 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟱–𝟳, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 – Three researchers from Sorsogon State University (SorSU), Dr. Errol G. De Castro, Program Chair of the Doctor of Public Administration and Master of Public Administration Programs of the SorSU Graduate School, Dr. Catherine A. De Castro, Director of the Planning Management Office and Graduate School faculty member, and Dr. Aaron A. Funa, Doctor of Public Administration student representative, presented four research papers at the 2026 Annual International Forum on Public Governance.

Organized by the Vietnam’s Academy of Public Administration and Governance (APAG) in partnership with the Eastern Regional Organization for Public Administration (EROPA), in collaboration with the United Nations Project Office on Governance (UNPOG) of the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UN DESA), and with the support of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Vietnam and Singapore’s Chandler Governance Group (CGG). The forum gathered international scholars, policymakers, public administrators, development practitioners, researchers and students under the theme “Inclusive Governance in the New Development Era: System Transformation, Innovations, and Future-Ready Governments.”

The SorSU delegates presented studies on public sector work arrangements, youth development, cybersecurity in digital education, and artificial intelligence (AI) policies in higher education. Their research highlighted practical insights for strengthening public institutions, improving educational initiatives, and promoting responsible technology use.

Their participation also supported the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly those concerning quality education, decent work, innovation, strong institutions, and international partnerships.

Through this international engagement, SorSU reaffirmed its commitment to research excellence, international collaboration, and sustainable development by bringing locally grounded research to the global academic community.

And if life has been especially difficult for you lately, please remember this: you don’t have to be strong every single day. You’re allowed to rest, to ask for help, to take a step back, and to begin again as many times as you need. Healing takes time, and you don’t have to figure everything out all at once. 🌷❤️‍🩹

Your struggles do not define your worth. Your pain deserves to be acknowledged, your feelings deserve to be heard, and your life deserves care, love, and understanding.

So, let’s be gentler with one another—not just today, but every day. We may never fully understand what someone else is going through, but we can always choose to make their world a little less lonely. 💙🕊️
