The University formalized a partnership with the Department of Education – Schools Division of Talisay City allowing the use of a university-developed educational toy in Magcorao Elementary School.

Signed on October 27, 2026 at DepEd SDO Talisay City Office, the agreement covers the Utility Model “An Educational Matching Toy” (Utility Model Registration No. 2/2025/051431, issued January 28, 2026) and its copyrighted User’s Manual.

Both are outputs of the research “Design and Development of SynAnto (Synonyms-Antonyms) Vocabulary Instructional Toy Cylinder” by Prof. Vanessa Joy Judith, a faculty of the College of Education (COED).

We proudly celebrate our BS in Accountancy students who represented the university at the 19th National Accounting Quiz Showdown (NAQDown), organized by the National Federation of Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants (NFJPIA) on October 18, 2026, at the REO CPA Review Center in Manila.

🏅 Benedict Joseph B. Rivera earned the title of Top 1 Semifinalist for the Visayas Hub, a remarkable feat that put CHMSU’s name among the best in the region!

🌟 Our participants Danna Bea Sajonia and Nestlefer Claramonte also showed grit, discipline, and excellence on the national stage.

CHMSUFEST 2026 IN FORTUNE TOWNE CAMPUS | A day of excitement, camaraderie, and cultural pride unfolded yesterday, October 26, 2026, at the Fortune Towne Campus, as CHMSUFest 2026 officially opened with a celebration of athleticism, creativity, culture, and the spirit of healthy competition.

The opening program featured a series of ceremonial highlights, beginning with the Holy Mass, presided over by Rev. Fr. Chris Gonzales, at the CHMSU Fortune Towne gymnasium, and a simultaneous Christian Service, led by Prof. Ernesto Java and Prof. Carnit George Cordova, at the CHMSU Fortune Towne Campus Audio-Visual Room.

The opening ceremony continued with the processional walk of the ROTC, faculty members, staff, club officers and advisers, athletes, and the Mr. and Ms. Intramurals candidates. This was followed by the opening remarks of CBMA Dean Nenette Padilla; the ceremonial lighting of the torch by the RSCUAA athletes; and the Oath of Sportsmanship led by Edrian Chua. The program also featured the banner unveiling and an opening salvo by the Ang Mananayaw Dance Troupe (AMDT).

The celebration reached another milestone with the formal declaration of the opening of the Intramurals by Executive Director Ruvy Tuble. This set the stage for the Cosplay Showdown and the Cheerdance Competition, where the Orange Scarabs of the College of Computer Studies clinched its three-peat win.
