The College of Business and Management (CBM) conducted its much-awaited sports tryouts this morning, October 28, as aspiring student-athletes showcased their skills, determination, and competitive spirits in preparation for the upcoming pasUpAl 2026.

‎From powerful spikes to sharp shots and incredible moves, aspiring student-athletes demonstrated their athletic prowess to earn a spot on the roster to represent CBM in the forthcoming Intramurals. ‎

𝗕𝗦𝗛𝗠, 𝗕𝗦𝗘 𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲 𝗟𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹 𝗜𝗩 𝗥𝗲-𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

Two academic programs under the College of Business and Management (CBM) of the University of Antique Tario-Lim Memorial Campus (UA-TLMC) have earned Level IV Re-Accreditation from the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP), affirming their commitment to academic excellence and continuous quality improvement.

The Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management (BSHM) and Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship (BSEntrep) programs underwent accreditation from July 28 to 30, 2025. Following the evaluation process, the AACCUP Board approved the programs for Level IV Re-Accreditation on July 28, 2026.

AACCUP Level IV Accreditation is the highest status awarded by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP) to academic programs and institutions recognizing academic programs that demonstrate outstanding performance and sustained quality across five (5) key areas: research, performance of graduates, community extension services, international linkages and consortia and planning process.

This achievement highlights the College of Business and Management’s continuing efforts to uphold high educational standards, strengthen its academic programs, and provide quality learning experiences that prepare students for professional and entrepreneurial pursuits.

The recognition also reflects the university’s commitment to institutional development and excellence, reinforcing UA-TLMC’s role in delivering quality higher education and continuously improving its services to the academic community.

Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management students attend the Pre-Departure Orientation Seminar on October 23, 2026, at Kalibo State University.

The activity aimed to prepare students—Mark Alfred Loyola, Ma. Abeona Sanchez and Lienette Esparagoza—who will soon begin their six-month internship at X10 Khaolak Hotel in Phuket, Thailand, starting November 2026.

Present in the event are distinguished guests, including Dr. Adalbert Alcaide, Managing Director of Adapper Management Consultancy, and Ma'am Mary Annavic Salumbides, College of Business and Management International Affairs Coordinator. Faculty members, staff, and supportive parents were also present to extend their encouragement to the student interns.

The orientation aimed to equip students with valuable knowledge in professional conduct, cultural adaptation, and the expectations of the global hospitality and tourism industry. Through the session, students learn valuable knowledge, skills, and mindset necessary for their international internship experience.

The University of Antique Tario-Lim Memorial Campus (UA-TLMC) held its Acquaintance Party 2026 on October 22 at the Bandoja Building Activity Center, carrying the theme “Tikang sa PaghiUsA kag PagpangUnA.”

The celebration featured an individual showcase of Denim and Glitz attire, highlighting students’ creativity, confidence, and personal style.

The event concluded with cheers and applause from participants, marking a lively gathering that celebrated unity and camaraderie among the university’s students.
