An informative session regarding career opportunities in Pakistan Navy through the Short Service Commission was organized at the Directorate of Students’ Affairs, The University of Azad Jammu & Kashmir, Chellah Campus, in collaboration with Pakistan Navy.

Senior officials of Pakistan Navy addressed the students and provided comprehensive guidance regarding various branches of the Navy, recruitment procedures, eligibility criteria, career growth, professional incentives, and opportunities for serving the nation through a prestigious career in the armed forces.

Dr. Yousaf Mir, Deputy Director Students’ Affairs, presented the welcome note and highlighted the importance of such awareness sessions for students. A large number of male and female students from different campuses participated in the session with great interest and enthusiasm.

At the conclusion of the session, Dr. Muhammad Naeem Ahmed, Director Students’ Affairs, thanked the officials of Pakistan Navy for their valuable visit and informative interaction with students. He also appreciated the active participation of students in the session.

Dr. Muhammad Naeem Ahmed, Associate Professor, Department of Chemistry, has assumed the charge of Director Students’ Affairs at The University of Azad Jammu & Kashmir.

Dr. Muhammad Naeem Ahmed brings with him extensive academic, administrative, and leadership experience. He has previously served on various key positions, including Chairman, Department of Chemistry, and Director ORIC, where he demonstrated strong professional competence, administrative understanding, and commitment to institutional development and student affairs.

The faculty, staff, colleagues, and students warmly welcome him on assuming this important responsibility and extend their best wishes for a successful tenure in promoting student welfare and academic excellence at the University.
