Leah Baxter did her research. As a middle school teacher looking for the right graduate program, she wanted a university where she would feel supported and known.

She found that at ACU. While earning her Ed.D. in Organizational Leadership online, Leah built close relationships with professors who stayed involved throughout her journey. Their encouragement, prayers and genuine care became some of the most meaningful parts of her ACU experience, especially when she needed extra encouragement to keep going.

Now, Leah gets to celebrate where her hard work and the support of her ACU community have led her: graduation. 💜🎓

Katie Acevedo never imagined she’d earn her doctorate. Then she decided to prove to herself that she could.

With two ACU graduates for parents, earning her Ed.D. in Organizational Leadership from Abilene Christian University made the experience even more meaningful. Along the way, she found new friendships, lasting connections and a new confidence in what she can accomplish.

For six days, the classroom moved to Oxford.

Sixteen students in Abilene Christian University’s online Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership program gathered in England to present their research, exchange ideas with scholars from around the world and experience a place shaped by centuries of learning.
