The Lady Panther Cross Country team raced this morning in Uncle Nick’s Swan City Bagel Run 4K. There were nine teams competing and only two schools in the field. SFSC took fifth place with Melina Cardona as the lead followed by Azariah Wroy and Ezmeralda Alamia.

SFSC announces a charitable gift of $15,600 from the Suncoast Credit Union Foundation. ☀️

The funds will be used to support programs at SFSC’s off-campus instructional sites. At SFSC’s Hardee and Lake Placid campuses, $4,000 will support the Summer Finishers program for dual enrollment students, $1,200 will set up college prep events for eighth graders, $7,400 will fund testing support, and $3,000 will assist students with the purchase of their graduation regalia.

Your refund schedule may vary if you are enrolled in one or more Flex Session classes. Individual refund schedules may also change based on when financial aid is awarded to a student’s account.

You can pre-register for five classes for $40 or take each class separately for $10 each.

The first home Women’s Cross Country meet was a success! 🏃🏾‍♀️‍➡️🏃🏻‍♀️‍➡️🏃🏽‍♀️‍➡️🏃🏼‍♀️‍➡️

The four participating teams were SFSC, College of Central Florida, Lake Sumter State College, and New College of Florida.

Melina Cardona, Panther sophomore, won in 20:47.
SFSC runners were in the top 15, four of which were in the top seven.

Melina was followed by Ezmeralda Alamia in fourth, Carlie Eaton in fifth, Azariah Wroy in sixth, and Josselyn Lopez in 14th!

It was a great day to be a Panther! 🐾
