South Florida State College (SFSC) would like to thank Senate President Ben Albritton, Senator Erin Grall, Representative Vanessa Oliver, and Representative Kaylee Tuck for their advocacy and support of education in our region.

We are grateful for their hard work in promoting the meaningful appropriations requests that will strengthen our ability to serve students and our tri-county service area, which includes $5 million to create a Regional Workforce Transportation and Fi****ms Training Center, $1 million in operational support, $500,000 for SFSC Testing Center modernization, and $750,000 for EMS and Fire program readiness.

These investments help create stronger pathways for student success and the continued growth of our region. Thank you for supporting the opportunities that make a meaningful difference for SFSC and the communities we proudly serve.

The 470 students filled out the free online scholarship application at https://southflorida.awardspring.com and you can too!

It takes a few minutes, and it allows the Financial Aid Office and the SFSC Foundation to see who you are and what you need.
