AGGRC at LSU AgCenter provides global leadership in safeguarding aquatic genetic resources

30/10/2026

We celebrated Halloween a little early this year at the AGGRC! With gumbo, costumes, and music, we all had a great time celebrating the season and the cooler weather we’ve been having.

We believe that research and hard work is important….but a little cake and fun every once in a while can’t hurt, right? 🎃🎂🎉

Our team has been on the move! 🌎

Two of our scientists traveled to Hungary for the 10th International Workshop on the Biology of Fish Gametes, while another three traveled to Massachusetts for the 12th Aquatic Models of Human Disease Conference! These conferences are always amazing opportunities to strengthen partnerships and exchange ideas.

We are so proud to see our team representing the AGGRC across the world!
