Together, We Stand Strong in Pink! 💗

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Chief Brammer shared heartfelt words as we recognized two incredible survivors, Captain Guerriero and Harriet Pioquinto.

Their stories are a powerful reminder of the strength, courage, and resilience it takes to face breast cancer.

Hear a few inspiring words from these amazing survivors as they share their journeys and remind us of the importance of hope, support, and standing together.

To everyone who is fighting, surviving, or remembering a loved one, you are not alone. We stand with you. 💗

🎀 Walking Together for a Cause! 🎀

The Florida Atlantic Police Department was proud to participate in the College of Medicine’s MedOwls in Pink Walk in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month!

Breast cancer awareness is more than wearing pink—it’s about standing together, honoring survivors, remembering those we’ve lost, and encouraging early detection and education.

As a department, we believe that supporting our community goes beyond the badge. Every step we take together helps spread awareness, inspire hope, and remind those affected by breast cancer that they are not alone. 💗

Thank you to the College of Medicine for bringing our Florida Atlantic community together for such a meaningful cause!

🎀 Together, we walk for awareness. Together, we stand for hope.

🚨 MOVE OVER. SLOW DOWN. SAVE LIVES. 🚨

Officer Larrabee is enforcing Florida’s Move Over Law and reminding drivers that roadside safety is everyone’s responsibility.

See an emergency or disabled vehicle stopped on the side of the road? MOVE OVER when it’s safe to do so. If you can’t move over, SLOW DOWN — at least 20 MPH below the posted speed limit when the limit is 25 MPH or higher.

The law also protects disabled vehicles with hazard lights, flares or emergency signage, or when people are visibly present. ⚠️

A little extra space can make a BIG difference.
Move over. Slow down. Get everyone home safely. 💙
