TN Reconnect featuring Cory Higginbotham

I am a husband, father, and a 49-year-old student. I graduated from the Radiologic Technology program with plans to continue to Radiation Therapy. The ability to come back to college in my adult life and hit the restart button on my career has been so rewarding. I have grown intellectually and gained a great deal of confidence.

The hardest part to anything new is just to start. The rewards far outweigh the moments of self-doubt and wrestling with the nervousness of going back to school while juggling adult life.

Once I decided what I wanted to do, I had to figure out how to pay for this education. Luckily, TNReconnect will fully cover the cost of tuition. This is such a blessing, and such a burden lifted off my shoulders every semester.

I encourage everyone who wants to better themselves to take that first step. Resources are available to aid in your journey every step of the way. Go find your new passion and good luck!

TCAT career and technical programs can be completed in about a year, helping you gain the skills employers need and start earning sooner. And if you decide to continue your education, many of those credits can transfer toward an associate degree.
