Congratulations to Associate Dean Aleksandar (Sasha) Tomić on completing his five-week Fulbright Specialist project at the University of Montenegro’s Faculty of Economics, organized in partnership with the U.S. Embassy in Podgorica.

As part of the project, Dr. Tomić delivered a public lecture titled "The Education of a Republic: What 250 Years of the American Experiment Teaches." Reflecting on the upcoming 250th anniversary of the U.S. Declaration of Independence, his lecture examined how decentralization, competition, and accountability continue to drive innovation in American education.

The initiative highlights the vital role of international academic collaboration in strengthening educational institutions and fostering global knowledge exchange.

Please join us in celebrating Dr. Tomić’s achievement and his representation of Boston College on the international stage.
