🚀 Meet UNA’s Space Grant K–12 Outreach Ambassadors! 🌟

Seven University of North Alabama students have been selected by the Alabama Space Grant Consortium to serve as K–12 Outreach Ambassadors, bringing the excitement of space science and STEM to students and educators across North Alabama.

Through engaging presentations, interactive activities and hands-on STEM experiences, these ambassadors are helping the next generation explore what’s possible — and showing students that the future of space, and the people who shape it, can begin right here in Alabama. 🛰️🔭

✨ Strickland Ambassadors Surpassing the Gold Standard ✨
💛💜 August Ambassadors of the Month 💜💛

The Spencer College of Education and Human Sciences is proud to recognize three exceptional student ambassadors who were selected as our August Strickland Ambassadors of the Month:

🌟 Abby Frawley — 2nd Year | Elementary Education | Muscle Shoals, AL

🌟 Caroline Lambert — 1st Year | Secondary Education/English Language Arts | Florence, AL

🌟 Claire Wright — 1st Year | Secondary Education/Mathematics | Decatur, AL

Each month, one student from each captain group is selected for going above and beyond an already exceptionally high standard of service and leadership - truly Surpassing the Gold Standard. That might mean exceeding expected service hours, arriving early or staying late, pitching in without being asked, bringing extraordinary energy and joy to an event, or simply setting an outstanding example for fellow ambassadors.

The Strickland Ambassadors are a select group of high-achieving, engaged students who represent their departments, the College, and the University. They serve as mentors, hosts, recruiters, campus representatives, and advisors while helping build community, spirit, and awareness of the opportunities within the Spencer College.

Being a Strickland Ambassador comes with high expectations—and an even higher standard of professionalism, service, leadership, and representation. Abby, Caroline, and Claire have demonstrated what it looks like to surpass those expectations.
