It's a Staff Senate Spotlight ✨
Meet Nancy Brown from the Joint School for Nanoscience and Nanoengineering.

She represents Gateway Research Park and serves on the Outreach and Spartan Open Pantry committees.

💙 Why UNCG? "When I first started at UNCG I was looking for a career change and work life balance, but I have stayed because I love the students and the people I work with and I feel like I am contributing something in my position everyday."

💛 Favorite thing about being on Staff Senate? "The people that I have met and formed friendships with across campus."

🎬 Right now, Nancy is really into watching Dancing with the Stars, Traitors, and Hallmark Christmas movies.

✈️ Outside of work, Nancy loves to travel, go to movies, attend concerts, and watch live theater.

We'll wrap up this spotlight by sharing Nancy's favorite quote: "The scariest moment is always just before you start. After that, things only get better." - Stephen King
