We're sorry to share that Summer Shakespeare is canceled. ⚠️

Please update your calendars. We hope you'll stay tuned for future events!

We regret to share that our planned summer Shakespeare production has been canceled.

Despite our excitement and early preparations, many of our talented local actors have had prior commitments this season, and we ultimately did not have enough available performers to bring this show to life in the way it deserves. This was not an easy decision, and we are truly disappointed not to be gathering together to share this production with you.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who expressed interest, auditioned, or supported this effort. Your enthusiasm means the world to us.

We look forward to returning with future productions and hope to see you soon—on stage and in the audience.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support of our theatre community. 🎭

This fall, the East Carolina University Honors College will welcome 21 new Brinkley-Lane Scholars to campus.

We were so glad to welcome Kevin Williamson back to campus last week! What a "Scream" it was! 😉

Thirty years after the debut of “Scream,” Kevin Williamson’87 returned to ECU to sit on the same stage where he once worked backstage and performed as a student.

What a start to this day! It was great to see and hear students at ECU's main commencement this morning.

Big thanks to Dr. Navid Bargrizan from the ECU School of Music. He was chosen to carry the CFAC banner and lead in our graduates because he was a recipient of a 2025-2026 college Research and Creative Activity Award and, as Dean Linda Kean said, "...also his efforts in the classroom and other creative activity. He hit the ground running when he came here and has done a lot to promote the School of Music through his work." 💜

We will see everyone for our college-level Graduation Recognition Ceremony this afternoon!
