Meet Hoang, our Fall 2026 MISSO Tech Officer! 💻💙

Passionate about technology, leadership, and creating opportunities for others, Hoang is dedicated to helping MISSO members learn, grow, and build meaningful connections!

Swipe to get to know Hoang! 👉✨

What is your favorite MISSO memory? 💙

One of my favorite MISSO memories involves former officer Connor Cummings. I met Connor after a Dell event, and what started as a simple conversation turned into hours of discussing MISSO, leadership, and why I should consider becoming an officer.

He shared how much the experience had helped him grow, the impact an officer could make, and encouraged me to take that next step. Eventually, I took his advice and applied, which turned out to be one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

Becoming an officer has given me opportunities to grow, lead, build meaningful relationships, and create memories I’ll carry with me long after college. I’ll always be grateful to Connor for seeing my potential and giving me the encouragement I needed. Thank you, Connor!

What made you decide to run for an officer position within MISSO? 🏃

I decided to run for an officer position because I wanted to become more involved in MISSO and give back to an organization that had already provided me with so many opportunities. I also wanted to challenge myself, grow as a leader, and help create the same welcoming and valuable experience for other members that MISSO had created for me.

What is one piece of advice you would give to MISSO members? 📝

Get involved as much as you can and take advantage of every opportunity MISSO offers! Attend events, talk to officers, network with professionals, and don’t be afraid to step outside your comfort zone. The more you put into MISSO, the more you’ll get out of it. The connections you build and the experiences you gain can have a lasting impact on your college and professional journey.

What is one thing you wish to accomplish as Tech Officer this semester? ⭐️

One thing I hope to accomplish as Tech Officer this semester is to make MISSO’s Education Team more interactive by creating additional hands-on opportunities for members. I especially want to host a l

Meet Donna, our Fall 2026 MISSO Marketing Officer! 🎨💙

With a passion for creativity and connecting with others, Donna is dedicated to bringing fresh ideas, engaging content, and new opportunities for members to get involved with MISSO!

Swipe to get to know Donna! 👉✨

What is your favorite MISSO memory? 💙

My favorite MISSO memory has to be the Mentorship Mixer! My favorite part was the social afterward at Kokee Tea, where I got to meet and talk with so many different people in a fun and comfortable setting.

What made you decide to run for an officer position within MISSO? 🏃

At first, I honestly wasn’t planning on running for an officer position. However, I wanted to challenge myself by stepping outside my comfort zone while continuing to express my creativity. I saw this as an opportunity to grow both personally and professionally while doing something I’m passionate about.

What is one piece of advice you would give to MISSO members? 📝

Just do it! Don’t let your fears or setbacks stop you from growing. Everyone starts somewhere, and you get out what you put in. Take chances, embrace new opportunities, and don’t be afraid to step outside your comfort zone!

What is one thing you wish to accomplish as Marketing Officer this semester? ⭐️

This semester, I hope to increase member engagement and strengthen MISSO’s social media presence by creating more interactive, creative, and visually appealing content. I also want to encourage members to get involved in our marketing efforts by contributing ideas, participating in reels, and helping create designs that represent our community.

What is something you’re passionate about outside of school? 🍖🍔🍦

Outside of school, I love expressing my creativity through painting! It’s actually what first helped me discover my creative side. I also enjoy playing video games and trying new foods and sweets. I’m always open to food recommendations, so send them my way!

Meet Abia, our Fall 2026 MISSO Public Relations Officer! 💙✨

From creating meaningful connections to bringing our MISSO community closer together, Abia is passionate about making a positive impact and helping others grow!

Swipe to get to know Abia, hear about her favorite MISSO memories, and learn what inspires her! 👉

What is your favorite MISSO memory? 💙

My favorite MISSO memory has to be the beach cleanup and social! Even though the drive was long, being surrounded by such a loving and supportive community made it all worth it.

What made you decide to run for an officer position within MISSO? 🏃

MISSO has shaped me so much since I joined during my freshman year. It helped me come out of my shell, meet new people, and become the person I am today. I’ve gained so much from this organization, and I wanted to give back in the best way I knew how.

What is one piece of advice you would give to MISSO members? 📝

Remember that everything happens for a reason! Even when things don’t go as planned, there are always bigger and better opportunities ahead.

What is one thing you wish to accomplish as Public Relations Officer this semester? ⭐️

This semester, as Public Relations Officer, I hope to create meaningful opportunities for students through events like the Mentorship Mixer while also leading and supporting our officer team to achieve success together.
