The Baylor College of Medicine Orthotics and Prosthetics Program trains graduate students to become Certified Prosthetist Orthotists through our Master of Science pathway. The Baylor College of Medicine Masters of Science in Orthotics and Prosthetics resides in the School of Health Professions and trains students to successfully become Certified Prosthetist Orthotists. The mission of the Orthotics

and Prosthetics Program at Baylor College of Medicine is to provide the highest level of education through evidence-based teaching and curriculum design, integrated clinical residency, direct contributions to Orthotics and Prosthetics research, and collaboration with the local and national rehabilitative care community.

Following a session led by occupational therapist , students got to experience some of the challenges prosthesis users might face. They also reflected on the value of interdisciplinary care and the teamwork to required to help clients and patients reach their goals.
