NAHJ USC Official page of the USC NAHJ student chapter. The National Association of Hispanic Journalists welcomes you to become part of the USC Student Chapter.

We are the student chapter of the National Association of Student Journalists at the University of Southern California. NAHJ USC is committed to better unifying the USC Latino journalist and Annenberg community, while supplying useful resources to undergraduate and graduate Annenberg students. NAHJ USC hosts meaningful workshops and is committed to the advancement of Hispanics in the journalism in

dustry. We offer you the opportunity to network and learn from professional journalists in the industry, apply for scholarships, attend the national NAHJ convention and bring diversity to both campus and the industry. At the national level, the "National Association of Hispanic Journalists is the largest organization of Latino journalists in the United States. Our mission is to increase the number of Latinos in the newsrooms. We also work toward fair and accurate representation of Latinos in news media."

This event will be moderated by Professor Leslie Berestein Rojas. Panelists include:

Clara Ramírez is a senior digital content producer for los Angeles-based
Stations telemundo 52 and NBC4. She holds a master’s degree in mass communication from California state university, northridge. She previously worked as a digital producer for kmex, univision los Angeles and la opinión.
Clara is colombian and has participated in various journalistic projects in europe and the Philippines. She speaks spanish, english and italian.
