💜 June is Lipedema Awareness Month 💜

This month, we shine a light on Lipedema, a chronic medical condition that primarily affects women and causes an abnormal buildup of fat tissue, most often in the legs, hips, buttocks, and sometimes the arms.

Many women live for years without a diagnosis, often being told to simply lose weight, when in reality Lipedema is a medical condition that requires awareness, understanding, and support.

🌿 Know the Signs:
• Disproportionate fat accumulation in the legs and/or arms
• Pain, tenderness, or heaviness in affected areas
• Easy bruising
• Swelling that doesn’t improve with diet and exercise
• Family history of similar symptoms

💜 This June, let’s:
✨ Educate ourselves and others
✨ Support those living with Lipedema
✨ Encourage early diagnosis and treatment
✨ Advocate for greater awareness and research

Today, we proudly celebrate two years of sisterhood, service, leadership, and legacy as the first line of Delta Psi Rho Sorority, Inc., Chi Chapter.

On this day in Spring 2024, we crossed into a lifelong bond rooted in purpose, perseverance, and the commitment to help fill the void in our communities. As the 6 Folds of RHOyal Pressure, we have grown together, supported one another, and continued to uphold the values and vision of our beloved sorority.

From our first steps as line sisters to the women we continue to become, we are grateful for every lesson, every memory, and every milestone we have shared. Our journey is a testament to what can be accomplished when six women unite with one purpose and one heart.
