As the United States quickly approaches the 250th anniversary of independence this Fourth of July, Iona University’s new initiative, "Common Sense and the Constitution: Civic Engagement in the Spirit of 1776,” is bringing together leaders in government, education, and public history for a discussion of how the principles and practices shared in that founding document influence our New Rochelle, New York, national, and global communities today.

Yesterday’s Senior Class Toast marked the official welcome of our graduating seniors into the Iona University Alumni Association with an afternoon filled with celebration, community, and Gael pride.

Thank you to our Alumni Board members for being part of such a meaningful tradition - from distributing Alumni Association pins to celebrating alongside students as they prepare for their next chapter.

We’re also proud to share that the Senior Class Legacy Campaign raised $5,936 to support future generations of Gaels and continue the spirit of giving back at Iona.

The future of the alumni community is bright 💛
