Global Semesters operates over 78 semester, summer, and short-term study abroad programs for US and Our background is in academia.

We design and operate innovative university-level study abroad programs, primarily for students from the United States and Canada. We are best known for our thematic regional and global study programs and have the ability to operate sophisticated co-curricular itineraries. Our students cumulatively visit over 70 cities in over 20 countries, from Buenos Aires to Beijing. Global Learning Semesters was spun out of the University of Nicosia, the leading university in Cyprus, to focus exclusively on designing study abroad programs. Our senior management team has long-term cumulative experience in higher education, study abroad, risk management and international business. We have served on the standard setting bodies in study abroad, helping design the principles of best practices that will guide the leading study abroad firms over the next decade. We care about increased access and diversity in study abroad and work closely with our affiliates and partners in the study abroad offices of home universities in the United States to support these objectives.

Last weekend, UNIC Global Semesters traveled to Paphos, a coastal town on the southwest point of the island. We visited Petra tou Romiou to see the birthplace of Aphrodite. Continuing on, we visited the Mosaics in Paphos. The ancient mosaics are considered among the finest in the world. The students spent the rest of the weekend exploring the city, which included time at the beach, hiking, a trip to the spa, and karaoke. Stay tuned for more!

Hello everyone! My name is Lily Warshaw, I’m from New York, and I’m so excited to be with Global Semesters this fall! I’m a junior (3rd year) studying at Susquehanna University for my Theatre Management BFA with a Public Relations minor. While here, I’m studying business while participating in an independent study + an internship! In my free time, I like to read, write, perform improv, create social media content, cook, see Broadway Shows, go shopping, and hang out with friends! My favorite part of the Cyprus program so far is getting to travel with the whole GS group! I’ve met so many amazing people not just through my home university, but from all over the United States! I can’t wait to document my experiences for you all through social media.

Hi All! I’m Kate Battis, a third year (junior) at the University of South Carolina (go gamecocks🐓🤙). I am double majoring in Global Studies and Cyber Policy & Ethics with a minor in Cybersecurity Operations and a concentration in Peace, Conflict, and Diplomacy. I’m originally from Minnesota, USA!

I love to travel! From mountains to oceans, I’ll explore it all! I have five siblings and a nephew, but our family just keeps growing!! I spin for the Colorguard at my school and have even performed in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. In my free time I enjoy all things outdoors: hiking, horseback riding, boating, snorkeling, fishing, skiing, and more.

Looking forward to bringing you all on adventures in Cyprus with me☺️

Hey! My name is Adrianne Jerrehian and I am one of your social media interns for this semester!

I am a third year (junior) at Susquehanna University and am a double major in Criminal Justice and Psychology. I am from Pennsylvania in the United States however, I was born in Armenia!

A few things about me! I am an only child. I was adopted. I LOVE to bake. I am very active and have played sports my whole entire life. I snowboard and horse back ride. I am part of the University Choir back at home and I sing in private lessons as well. I am in a sorority back at home and was on the executive board. Finally, I LOVE to travel!

I can’t wait to share my experience in Cyprus with you all.

Another week in Greece, another camera roll full of memories. 🌊📸 From a weekend in Milos to beach days, learning behind the lens, and ending with a photography walk and studio visit, this trip is more than I could’ve imagined! I’m so sad it’s coming to an end!! 🥹

The Pre-Med students went on some excursions to the beautiful Corinth, Nafplio and Epidvarous,as well as wandering around Athens neighborhoods and our own beach day!

We had a great time in Paphos last weekend! We started our trip by visiting Aphrodite’s rock and checking out the Mosaics. We spent the rest of our time swimming, walking near the Marina, and boating across the Mediterranean Sea. Paphos is a great place to hang out with friends and family, while grabbing a bite to eat and viewing the beautiful sunset! 🌊☀️🌅
