On Saturday, members of the NJIT Undergraduate Student Senate joined The Rock Place for their Night of Ten Thousand Sandwiches 🥪❤️

Our volunteers helped community members check in and connect with resources including SNAP enrollment, health and dental screenings, job assistance, free haircuts, and mobile showers. Serving our Newark neighbors is at the heart of what we do, and we’re proud to have been part of this effort.

Thank you to The Rock Place team for welcoming us, and to every student who gave their Saturday to show up for our city. More service opportunities coming soon, stay tuned! 🫡
