Seeing his poster design for sale at Madison Square Garden was an accomplishment a year in the making for Ryan Right ’27, who took his passion for graphic design beyond the classroom with a summer internship at World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE).

Following Merrimack’s Professional Development Retreat last year, Ryan was motivated to secure an internship and immediately got to work applying for opportunities, meeting with his career advisor and updating his LinkedIn profile. His preparation paid off when he landed an internship on WWE's static design team.

Now back on campus, he's already putting his new skills to work while supporting fellow students.

New school, new opportunities and a head start on the future! For transfer student Erin Flynn ’28, one of the biggest surprises about Merrimack has been the career development opportunities available from day one.

“I was connected with a career advisor immediately to learn about what I can be doing now to prepare for post-graduation.”

As a business management major with a concentration in hospitality, Erin is already gaining valuable career preparation, both in and out of the classroom.

This National Transfer Student Week, we're celebrating students like Erin who have found new opportunities to grow, explore their passions and prepare for what's next!
