🚗💨 What a day!

On May 30, Marion Technical College was proud to host our inaugural Car Show & Swap Meet, and the turnout exceeded all expectations with more than 100 vehicles on display!

A heartfelt THANK YOU goes out to our incredible vendors and supporters: Derek Cummings, Phillips CDJR, On Target Inspection, and Al Brooks. Your support helped make this event a tremendous success.

We also want to recognize some of the dedicated MTC staff members who stepped up and made the day possible, including Earl Scott, Laura Ulrich, Amy Rossetti, and Stacey Monroe. Events like this take a team effort, and we couldn't have done it without you.

Most importantly, please join us in giving a well-deserved round of applause to the driving force behind this event—Wayne Parks and Rickey Monroe. These two instructors, who lead our Automotive Technology and Commercial Vehicle Driving programs, invested months of planning, hard work, and determination to bring this vision to life. Their commitment to our students and community truly showed.

Best of all, every dollar raised will go back into our Automotive Technology and Commercial Vehicle Driving programs, helping us continue to enhance the student experience and provide even greater opportunities for hands-on learning.

Thank you to everyone who brought a vehicle, attended, volunteered, sponsored, or simply stopped by to support our students. We can't wait to see what next year brings!
