UWF Office of Undergraduate Research The Office of Undergraduate Research (OUR) facilitates and supports undergraduate student engagement in research and scholarly activities.

The Office of Undergraduate Research provides support for undergraduate scholarly activities across all disciplines at the University. OUR offers two types of awards: Student Project Awards and Travel Awards. These awards are intended to foster research partnerships between faculty and UWF’s most promising undergraduate students. Starting Fall 2015, OUR will be initiating the Student Scholars prog

ram. The Scholars program aims to aid students in professional development and educate ways to properly communicate research or research experience.

If you are an Undergraduate Cybersecurity Student or just have interest in AI, the Department of Cybersecurity and Information Technology are looking for Student Research Assistants to contribute to its projects. This is great if you are looking to gain experience in the Cybersecurity/AI Field and learn new things along the way!

OUR Project Awards: Funding for Undergraduate Research! Students working on individual projects can apply for up to $500. Students working on group projects can apply for up to $750 for expenses like chemicals, lab equipment, art supplies, travel to field sites, and more. To be eligible, you must be mentored by a UWF faculty member.
