As Respiratory Care Week 2026 gets underway, Ursuline College announces that its Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Care degree advancement program has been awarded the 2027-28 APEX Designation from the American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC) – the only program in Ohio to receive the designation. Yesterday, Ursuline faculty, staff, and students spent time working on the ongoing Labyrinth revitalization project. After weeding, sweeping, and leaf removal, the space is looking much more welcoming! Thank you to all who came out to help!

At Ursuline, we love our transfer Arrows! We strive to create an environment where transfer students feel at home, their transfer credits go further, and they flourish academically and personally while working to finish their degree and launch successful, purpose-driven careers.

And that hard work has not gone unnoticed. For the 5th year in a row, Ursuline has been named to the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society Transfer Honor Roll. We are proud of our dedicated staff and faculty who support the transfer journeys of our students!

Happy Feast of Saint Ursula!

When Saint Angela Merici founded her community, she called them "the Company of Saint Ursula." She likely chose Saint Ursula because at the time, she was a popular patron saint of young women and girls. As a young woman, Saint Ursula converted many to the faith and stood firm in her commitment to God. Saint Ursula was martyred by an arrow, a name our athletic teams proudly wear. Just as an arrow points toward its target, Saint Ursula points us toward staying true to who we are and God's purpose for our lives. Saint Ursula, pray for us.
