A new city, a new team, a new chapter. 🤸🍒🌟

Temple women’s gymnast Ahnna Kalmes transferred to Temple to find a community that supports her on and off the mat. Now, she’s studying health professions, helping plan National Student Transfer Week and building connections with fellow student-athletes.

Ahnna Kalmes transferred from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln to Temple University to join the women’s gymnastics team anchored by interim Head Coach Brittney Miller. Kalmes, a health professions major, serves on the National Student Transfer Week planning committee.

Researchers at Temple’s Lewis Katz School of Medicine uncovered how two proteins work together to repair DNA, offering new insight into how cancer cells survive and potential opportunities for future treatment development.
