Congratulations to Drexel DPT student Anna Bellucci, Class of 2028, on being selected as the Student Observer for the APTA Pennsylvania Payment Committee!

In this role, Anna will have the opportunity to gain valuable insight into healthcare policy, reimbursement, and professional advocacy while representing Drexel’s DPT program. Congratulations, Anna!

Today our Drexel DPT students had the opportunity to give back to the community at Jefferson Moss-Magee’s Wash N’ Tune event!

Students helped clean and perform minor repairs on wheelchairs, making a difference through hands on service and community engagement.

A fun day of hands on learning!

Yesterday our second year DPT students participated in our Child Development Lab, where they had the opportunity to work with pediatric volunteers and apply what they’ve been learning in the classroom to real life interactions!

A huge thank you to all of our wonderful volunteers and their families for helping make this such a valuable learning experience! 🐉

3rd year Drexel DPT student Alexis had the opportunity to visit APTA Headquarters with her clinical cohort at R2P! They toured APTA Headquarters in Alexandria, VA and learned more about PT advocacy and the important role physical therapists can play in advocating for their patients and the profession. A great experience learning more about the impact of PT beyond the clinic! 🩺💪

👏 Margaret Finley, PT, PhD, has been promoted from Associate Professor to Full Professor.
👏 Heather Brossman, PT, DPT, MS, DHSc, has been promoted from Assistant Clinical Professor to Associate Clinical Professor.
