Here are some testimonials from past campers/counselors in training:
"The UTD Women in Physics Camp lit a spark in me that hasn't stopped glowing. As an eighth grader, the beginner camp opened up a whole new universe where curiosity, discovery, and a love for learning felt limitless. Surrounded by brilliant peers and mentors who believe in the power of women in STEM, I felt like I belonged. I hope to return for the advanced camp and keep growing that spark that physics awakened in me."
- Aashi Punnam
"The Beginner WIP camp was truly a worthwhile and memorable experience for me! It exposed me to a topic I found quite daunting, allowing me to dip my feet in physics concepts that enhanced my interest in the subject. Apart from the projects and learning, I developed strong and long lasting friendships with the other campers. I found myself in a community with like-minded individuals that I could laugh and bond with over projects, during lunch, and competitions. The enduring memories I made during this week would not have been possible without the CITs and teachers that made lectures engaging, organized water balloon fights and rocket launches, and even brought in a guest to make ice cream with liquid nitrogen! I'm excited to reunite with my friends this summer at the Advanced WIP camp and potentially help support Beginner campers as a CIT!"

Come to the math side, we have pi! Founded in 1988, 3/14 became known as Pi Day to celebrate the mathematical constant π (pi) because the numbers 3, 1 and 4 are the first significant digits of π which corresponds to the date 3/14.
How will you celebrate Pi Day?
