This season is about so much more than the scoreboard. Our student-athletes aren't just competitors—they are leaders, servants and a vital part of the Jessup family.

What happens when the winningest coach in program history decides it’s time for a new inning? 🥎

For nearly a decade, Brie Campbell successfully balanced championship-level coaching with athletic administration. After transforming Jessup Softball into a nationally recognized program, capturing a national championship and securing 195 career victories, she is officially stepping out of the dugout. Campbell is now serving full-time as Senior Associate Athletics Director and Senior Woman Administrator to help guide Jessup’s continued growth in NCAA Division II athletics.

Plot twist! 🎬 Jenna Lambrechtsen thought she had her teaching career all figured out. She even gave very serious pop quizzes to her stuffed animals as a kid. But sometimes, finding your true calling means completely changing your major.

As the Jessup campus buzzes with the start of the fall semester, Jenna is gearing up for a school year of her own! After realizing a traditional teaching track wasn't the right fit, she took a huge leap of faith. The result? She made history as the inaugural graduate of Jessup’s new Child Development major. Today she uses her early childhood expertise and faith-driven compassion to impact the next generation.

How do we bridge the gap between our university and the local community? It all comes down to genuine relationships.

With more than 140 church partners across Northern California, we rely on intentional leadership to cultivate these connections. Director of Church Relations Jim Jessup doesn't just partner with regional pastors — he actively mentors our students.

Through his leadership in our Preaching Club, students are stepping out of the classroom and directly into local pulpits and worship teams. They are gaining real-world experience, conquering their public speaking fears and transforming into confident ministry leaders.

Happy National Aviation Week! ✈️ This week, we are excited to spotlight one of our amazing graduates, Kenzie.

Kenzie’s journey to the skies is a testament to trusting God's timing. She arrived at Jessup as a business major with no idea what she wanted to do, but God opened a door in aviation she just couldn’t turn down.

"Every time I hit a roadblock or wondered how something was going to work out, He always made a way," Kenzie says. "He’s taught me what it really looks like to trust Him, even when I couldn’t see the whole picture."

What made her time in the Jessup aviation program so special? The people. Kenzie says her professors spent hours mentoring her to ensure she felt encouraged, supported and challenged to grow. They cared about her as a student and as a person.

Now, Kenzie is stepping into a new chapter: returning to Jessup as a flight instructor to invest in the next generation of pilots.

If you feel called to the skies, take Kenzie's advice: "You don’t have to have everything figured out—just be willing to say yes and let God lead the way."

At just 24 years old, Cole Chambers had it all: a lucrative career in luxury auto sales, multiple homes and a fleet of vehicles. But when that carefully constructed life unraveled, he found a much greater calling.

Trading his possessions for a backpack and a Bible, Cole embarked on a cross-country journey that eventually led him to Jessup. Now pursuing a degree in Bible and theology, he brings the same drive he once used in the finance world to his studies, campus leadership and his new role as a pastor.

Cole no longer chases the world’s version of success, but he says he has never felt richer. Read his incredible story in our 2026 Donor Impact Report: jessup.edu/impact
