Nearly 50 College of San Mateo students took their career exploration to Meta’s Menlo Park headquarters on October 23, connecting directly with professionals working in supply chain.

During Strong Communities: Student Engagement Day, students explored how careers in analytics, procurement, demand planning, and program management come together at a global technology company. A leadership panel and small-group conversations gave students opportunities to ask questions about career paths, workplace expectations, and how to get started in the field.

The visit grew out of monthly planning meetings between CSM faculty and Meta’s team beginning in April. That work created an experience exclusively for CSM students, bringing industry connections into their education and helping them explore possibilities beyond the classroom.
