Trinity has partnered with the Wisconsin Inmate Education Association since 2017, offering incarcerated men the opportunity to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biblical Studies with a minor in Psychology at the Fox Lake Correctional Institution. Led by TIU professor, Dr. Shanthini Baskaran, the program gives this marginalized population the chance to change their lives and redefine their role in society. On June 18th, 2026, Neil Nyberg completed his tenure as Chairman of the Board of Regents of TIU, having faithfully served the University in that capacity for many years. Mr. Nyberg is succeeded by new Chairman of the Board of Regents Jim Palmer. Mr. Palmer is the President of True Sight Solutions in Orange County, California and Founder and former CEO of the Orange County Rescue Mission. He also holds an honorary Doctor of Laws from Trinity Law School. Welcome to the family, Mr. Palmer and thank you Mr. Nyberg for your dedication to our mission!

The 24/7 news cycle continues to be cluttered with reports, rumors, and rhetoric—all of which is largely poisonously partisan and unedifying. Yet, for the faithful Christian, pietism and indifference—cultural withdrawal—do not reflect a mature Christian approach to the public square—a venue that the Lord desires the faithful to engage—to actually intercede—“when truth stumbles” in the public legal realm..." —Jeffery J. The Center for Human Right's summer program just finished in Strasbourg, France—the seat of the European Court of Human Rights, the Council of Europe, and the European Parliament, as well as a lively hub of French art, culture, and cuisine. Students had the opportunity to examine contemporary issues in international human rights law, humanitarian law, and criminal law, supplemented with discussion of those issues from a Christian perspective with Trinity professors Andrew DeLoach and Stephen Kennedy as well as guest speakers, including lawyers, advocates, and academics.

Trinity Law School was honored to host Israeli-American attorney, author, and Fellow with the Georgetown University Center for the Constitution in Washington D.C., Yonatan Green. Green gave a lecture on his recently published book Rogue Justice on the Israeli legal system, in which he recounts the Court's ascent from a modest judicial institution to the central arbiter of Israel's political and social disputes. Revealing how judicial supremacy came to dominate Israeli governance, and discussed how Israel's constitutional crisis sits within broader global debates of pressing concern for scholars, practitioners and policymakers alike.

After his lecture, Green was joined by Professor Andrew DeLoach, Director of the Center for Human Rights at Trinity Law School, for a conversation and audience questions.
