Our art programs are designed to provide a basis for further studies in preparation for a career as an art educator, art historian, art therapist, display artist, illustrator, interior decorator, layout artist, museum guide, stage designer, or visual artist, as well as related careers in communications and media. Art students and faculty actively assist non-profit organizations in their community

and nationwide, with the opportunity to engage in extra-curricular activities through student organizations such as Orbis Ars (world of art) and the Pre-Art Therapy Association.

You may also notice the refrigerator painting…. The student Alicia was slated to be working from a live model. Covid did not allow that to happen so she decided to create a pallet knife painting of the interior of a refrigerator.. she created two movable side panels similar to the doors of a refrigerator that can open and close…. A great piece of abstraction.
