What an incredible Homecoming Weekend at YSU! 🐧❤️

From the pep rally and parade to tailgating and game day, our Penguin community came together to celebrate YSU pride and traditions!

The weekend also included the Williamson College of Business Administration Alumni Banquet, the Youngstown State Alumni Engagement Half Century Club Celebration and the Youngstown State Bitonte College of Health and Human Services Food and W**e Tour, highlighting the continued impact of our alumni and the importance of supporting the YSU community beyond campus.

Youngstown State University has been awarded $1.5 million from the Appalachian Regional Commission’s POWER Initiative to expand workforce training and career opportunities across the region.🤖🐧

Through the new Connected Infrastructure & Industrial Cybersecurity Workforce Initiative, YSU and its regional partners will provide hands on, no cost training for students in high demand fields, including automation, robotics, cybersecurity and advanced manufacturing.

This initiative strengthens the regional workforce while helping prepare students for the future of industry.
