We’re proud to see YSU students representing the university through research and innovation. 💙

Geology undergraduate Martin Antonio Lorca and chemical engineering graduate student Eric Adomako presented their research on geologic hydrogen and underground hydrogen storage at SHALE INSIGHT® 2026 in Erie, Pennsylvania.

Their research explores important questions about hydrogen resources, underground storage and how hydrogen interacts with subsurface rock. Both students were selected for the University Research Showcase and received Certificates of Achievement recognizing their work.

Congratulations to Martin and Eric on this accomplishment!👏
