Senior Accountant / Client Accounts Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant / Client Accounts Manager to manage UK client accounts, oversee compliance requirements, review accounting work, and support a team of accounting professionals. The ideal candidate will possess strong UK accounting practice experience along with excellent client management skills.
Key Responsibilities

Review and finalize client accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance
โ
Prepare and submit Annual Accounts to Companies House
โ
Prepare and file Corporation Tax Returns (CT600) with HMRC
โ
Oversee VAT Return preparation and submission through MTD
โ
Supervise, delegate, and review the work of junior accounting staff
โ
Manage client communications and maintain strong relationships
โ
Monitor filing deadlines and ensure timely submissions
โ
Ensure compliance with UK GAAP, HMRC regulations, and internal standards
โ
Maintain confidentiality of client financial information in line with GDPR requirements
โ
Support process improvements and team development initiatives
Requirements
๐ฏ ACCA / ACA qualified or part-qualified
๐ฏ Proven UK accounting practice experience
๐ฏ Strong knowledge of UK GAAP, Corporation Tax, and VAT regulations
๐ฏ Experience managing teams within an accounting practice
๐ฏ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
๐ฏ Strong client relationship and stakeholder management abilities
๐ฏ Proficiency in Xero, QuickBooks, Capium, or similar accounting software
๐ฏ Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple deadlines
Salary
๐ฐ BDT 40,000 โ 60,000 (Based on qualifications and experience)
