French university canteens began yesterday offering one-euro meals to all students, regardless of income.
This measure allows all enrolled students (undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral candidates, and certain volunteers), to enjoy a three-course meal at university-run canteens via the Izly app.

May 1st is a public holiday in France. It’s the occasion to celebrate workers rights but also to offer sprigs of lily-of-the-valley ("Muguet") 🌿 to friends, family, or loved ones as a symbol of good luck and happiness.
⚠️ Pretty much everything will be closed (including the Welcome Center for International Researchers) and there will be no public transportation in Bordeaux.

[GUIDED VISIT OF THE MÉRIADECK LIBRARY]

Time's ticking, and registration for our next guided tour of one of the largest municipal libraries in France will close tomorrow.
From the services offered by the Bordeaux public library network (including international press, children’s books, free multimedia tools, etc.) to the free membership requirements, all details will be provided.
