ness based approaches and researching applications of mindfulness. We also offer classes in mindfulness based stress reductions (MBSR) and mindfulness based cognitive therapy (MBCT) to specific populations and the general public both locally and further afield. The Centre is committed to:

Excellence in teaching and research,

Valuing individual learning and development,

Scientific rigour,

Integrity in adherence to the foundational attitudes of mindfulness

We were the first in the UK to establish professional training in the field on mindfulness and we remain one of the leading organisations for the delivery of training programmes. We offer training to professionals through a range of Continuing Professional Development courses (CPD) and through our part-time post-graduate programmes leading to MSc/MA in Mindfulness-based approaches, or MSc/MA in Teaching mindfulness-based courses.

Research opportunity: Autistic Mindfulness Teachers Study

Researchers at the Centre for Mindfulness Research and Practice (CMRP, Bangor University) seek autistic professionals qualified to teach mindfulness-based approaches for an interview study.

Are you: (1) Autistic or AuDHD (self-identified)? (2) Qualified to teach a mindfulness-based approach? (3) Aged 18 years or over?

Are you an autistic professional who has successfully completed teacher training in a mindfulness-based approach such as Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR)? We are interested in your experiences of teacher training and working with contemporary mindfulness curricula. The interview can be done via zoom or completed in writing in your own time. The interviewer will be a late-diagnosed neurodivergent researcher. To receive an info sheet, please email Emily on [email protected].

This project has been reviewed & approved by the University of Bangor Ethics Committee Ref 1168.
