We’re proud to announce that UCL Global Business School for Health (GBSH), is bringing the world’s first business school dedicated exclusively to health to Dubai.

Closely aligned with the objectives of the ‘We the UAE 2031’ vision, the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, and Dubai’s Education 33 (E33) strategy, UCL Global Business School for Health, Dubai will contribute to the UAE’s established healthcare, education, research, and innovation landscape. Working closely with Dubai Healthcare City Authority (DHCA), the governing body of Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC), we will bring together clinicians, executives, policymakers, researchers and entrepreneurs to address complex healthcare challenges.

Building on 200 years of UCL’s academic excellence and innovation, we’re opening a new chapter in our global work to transform health through better business.

The launch of the UCL Global Business School for Health, Dubai was announced at a special industry event hosted in Dubai Healthcare City, last week. We were honoured to celebrate this milestone alongside government leaders, healthcare executives, academic partners, and industry stakeholders who share our commitment to shaping the future of health.

This week, the UCL Global Business School for Health exhibited at the Abu Dhabi Future Health Summit, connecting with leaders, innovators and decision-makers from across Abu Dhabi, Dubai and the wider UAE.

The event provided valuable insights into the region's evolving healthcare priorities and ambitions.

Under the theme ‘To Sense is to Predict’, the summit explored the future of proactive and preventive healthcare, highlighting how predictive technologies, earlier interventions and more personalised approaches can help us anticipate health risks and preserve health, rather than simply respond to illness.

We enjoyed engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders, including educators, digital health innovators, precision and personalised medicine startups, healthcare entrepreneurs and university leaders.

These conversations reinforced the importance of bringing together expertise across business, health and technology to address some of healthcare's most pressing challenges.

Meet our newest Impact Fellows in Global Health Systems and Policy!

We are delighted to welcome Dr Babeth Solange Ngo Bama and Dr Sahabi Kabir Sulaiman to UCL Global Business School for Health as the second cohort of our Impact Fellowship for 2026–27.

Bringing extensive experience in frontline healthcare, research and health policy across Cameroon and Nigeria, our new Fellows will work alongside researchers at the UCL Centre for Global Health Systems and Policy to explore how health systems can learn, adapt and translate evidence into better policy and practice.

💡 The one-year fellowship supports health systems professionals from low- and middle-income countries, providing opportunities to advance their research, develop leadership skills and build global partnerships that address real-world healthcare challenges.

We look forward to seeing the insights, collaborations and impact they will bring to our community.
