CSU-CAA Ka-Agri Farm at the 3rd CRAFTE 2026! 💜🌾

CSU-CAA Ka-Agri Farm proudly participated in the 3rd Caraga Region Agriculture and Fisheries Technology Exhibition (CRAFTE) 2026, held on July 22–23, 2026, at the Tagbina Research and Experimental Station, Brgy. Maglambing, Tagbina, Surigao del Sur.

Representing Ka-Agri Farm is Kuya Ruben showcasing two of our flagship products; Purple Corn and Vermicast highlighting the farm's commitment to sustainable agriculture, innovation, and quality agricultural production.

The exhibition served as an excellent platform to promote technologies and products developed by institutions across the region while fostering collaboration, knowledge exchange, and innovation among researchers, farmers, extension workers, and agricultural stakeholders.

Ka-Agri Farm remains committed to advancing agricultural excellence through research, innovation, and community engagement, contributing to a more resilient and sustainable agricultural sector in the Caraga Region.

Special thanks to Kuya Ruben for proudly representing Ka-Agri Farm at the 3rd CRAFTE 2026, and to our BSA students for their dedication in growing, nurturing, and preparing the products we proudly showcased.

Summer Practicum 2026 Officially Concludes 🎓🌾

What began as a journey of curiosity and learning has now come to a meaningful close. Today marks the official conclusion of the Summer Practicum at CSU-CAA Ka-Agri Farm for our first-year Bachelor of Science in Agriculture students.

Throughout the program, our students embodied the true essence of learning through hands-on experiences. From fieldwork and seed identification to crop management and other hands-on agricultural activities. They faced every task with enthusiasm, resilience, and a willingness to learn, transforming classroom concepts into practical experience.

More than the skills they acquired, they cultivated discipline, teamwork, responsibility, and a deeper appreciation for the vital role of agriculture in our communities.

To all our practicum students, congratulations on successfully completing this chapter of your agricultural journey. May the knowledge, experiences, and friendships you have gained at Ka-Agri Farm continue to inspire you as you grow into competent, compassionate, and innovative agriculturists.

Thank you for your dedication and hard work. This may be the end of your summer practicum, but it is only the beginning of a lifetime of learning and service to agriculture.

Learning by Doing! 🌱

Today at CSU-CAA Ka-Agri Farm, students gained hands-on experience in assembling and identifying the different parts of a knapsack sprayer which is an essential agricultural tool used in crop production. By understanding its components, proper operation, and maintenance, students develop the practical skills needed to ensure safe, efficient, and responsible field applications.

Every hands-on activity brings our future agriculturists one step closer to becoming competent, skilled, and field-ready professionals. 🌾💚
