A celebration of sportsmanship, teamwork, and Sebastinian pride!

The Red and Gold Intramurals 2026 brings together our young Sebastinians from the Early Childhood Education to Junior High School Department under the theme, “60 Years Forward, Onward! One Heart. One Mind. One Mission. One Victory.”

More than just games and competitions, this celebration highlights the value of unity, discipline, camaraderie, and the determination to do our best in every challenge.

San Sebastian College-Recoletos de Cavite, through the Sebastinian Psychology Society, successfully held the first-ever “May Paglaya sa Paghilom: A Light Up Blue Ceremony” in celebration of National Mental Health Awareness Month 2026.

Together, let us continue to promote understanding, break the stigma surrounding mental health, and foster a culture of care and support within the Sebastinian community.

SSC-R de Cavite Holds Uniform Ceremony 2026

San Sebastian College–Recoletos de Cavite held its Uniform Ceremony 2026 on October 24, with the theme “Shaping Future Leaders: Living the Sebastinian Mission through Discipline, Leadership, and Service.”

The day began with the Eucharistic Celebration at the Recoletos 4th Centennial Gymnasium, which was presided over by Chancellor Fr. Dexter D. Palagtiosa, OAR. The formal ceremony followed at 10:00 a.m. at the Cañacao Campus, with Hon. Raleigh Grepo Rusit, Cavite City Vice Mayor as the guest of honor.

After the arrival of Vice Mayor Rusit, 3CL Kyla Flores, Secretary of the Student Crime Prevention Council (SCPC) Cavite, led the opening prayer. This was followed by the singing of the Philippine National Anthem.

Dr. Jesusa D. Ortuoste, Vice President for Academics and Research, delivered the opening remarks.

Dr. Jessy Mae Gatchalian-Hamdag, Dean of the College of Criminal Justice Education, then introduced the Honorable Vice Mayor, who delivered an inspirational speech.

The program proceeded with the presentation of gifts and a plaque of appreciation to the guest speaker by Dr. Gatchalian-Hamdag, Dr. Ortuoste, and Fr. Palagtiosa. The pinning ceremony for SCPC officers followed. This was succeeded by the Pledge of Loyalty, led by 2CL Joseph Vergara, President of SCPC Manila, and the donning of shoulder boards of the Criminology students. The said students then took their oath, led by 2CL Klyde Manzon, Vice President for External Affairs of SCPC Manila.

A message from Chancellor and Vice President for Recoletos Identity, Formation and Mission Fr. Dexter D. Palagtiosa, OAR, further underscored the importance of the activity.

The event concluded with the singing of the SSC-R de Cavite Hymn and the Pass-in-Review.

Ms. Jane Tibar and Mr. Arjohn Reyes served as masters of ceremonies.

Through the Uniform Ceremony 2026, SSC-R de Cavite reaffirmed its commitment to forming future criminal justice professionals who uphold integrity, embrace responsibility, and live out the Sebastinian mission through disciplined leadership and dedicated service.

SSC-R de Cavite's future engineers officially kicked off their celebration of FORCES: Trivecta 2026 on October 21.

With the theme "Computing the Future, Transmitting Possibilities, Optimizing Solutions," the three-day event featured thrilling sports competitions and video game tournaments alongside seminars that broadened technical horizons.

This year's Engineering Days served as more than a showcase of skill and intellect; it celebrated the camaraderie and perseverance that unite aspiring engineers. FORCES: Trivecta 2026 reaffirmed that the future is shaped not only by innovative solutions but also by the determination and collaboration of those bold enough to build it.

SSC-R de Cavite proudly congratulates Mikaela Ryanne Reyes (BS Nursing 4), Clarice Kristcel Delos Santos (BS Nursing 4), and Kim Cloie Canuto (BS Nursing 2) of The Sebastinian Gazette for securing 7th Place among 100+ colleges and universities across the Philippines in the 14th Pambansang Pautakang Pampahayagan during the 17th National Campus Media Conference, organized by the School Press Advisers Movement, Inc., in Baguio City.

This remarkable achievement reflects your dedication, knowledge, and commitment to campus journalism, bringing pride and honor to the Sebastinian community.

The delegation was accompanied and supported by Fr. Julius James T. Tinapao, OAR, Director for Student Affairs and Services, and Mr. Mike Jansen B. Pacifico, Program Chair of the Psychology Department.
