Alhamdulillah 🤍

Despite the loaded deadlines and academic responsibilities, we, as officers, continue to extend our help and support to those in need.

Our sincere gratitude to the former Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, Dr. Juwairiya U. Lingga, for donating used clothes for Mr. Abdulrazak Macmod, a 1st Year Biology student whose home was recently destroyed by fire.

The donation was noted and coordinated by our PDSO Adviser, Ma’am Nheng A. Salipada, MAPD, and was received by the Classroom Mayor of their class and officers, Mr. Benjamin Bantuas.

Indeed, kindness and compassion become more meaningful during difficult times. May Allah (SWT) bless everyone who extends help and generosity.

With deep sadness and heavy hearts, we inform everyone of the untimely passing of our dear ABPD 3rd Year student, Norsida B. Akmad.

During this moment of grief, we humbly ask everyone to include her in your sincere prayers (du’a), asking Allah (SWT) to grant her forgiveness, shower her with mercy, expand her grave with light, and admit her into Jannatul Firdaus.

May Her also grant strength, patience (sabr), and comfort to her bereaved family and loved ones.

Indeed, “Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un” Verily, we belong to Allah and to Him we shall return.

‎Today, together with my co-officers of PDSO, we conducted the distribution of Ramadan food packs at the Ginakit Qur’anic Center in Lagundungan, Kalanganan II, Cotabato City. This Free Iftar initiative of PDSO was made possible through the generous sponsorship of Councilor Faidz “Aik” Edzla.

‎We sincerely express our gratitude for his invaluable support and commitment to community service. May Allah (SWT) reward all those who contributed to this meaningful initiative and accept it as a form of sadaqah jariyah.
‎
‎May this effort bring benefit and blessings to our brothers and sisters during this blessed month of Ramadan.

The Peace and Development Student Organization actively took part in 𝗔𝗟𝗘𝗚𝗥𝗔𝟮𝟱𝟮𝟲, joining student leaders and various organizations from different colleges and departments, including Local Student Councils and Academic Organizations.

As aspiring peacebuilders and responsible student leaders, our presence in this event highlights our dedication to meaningful leadership, collaboration, and genuine service to the student community. 𝗔𝗟𝗘𝗚𝗥𝗔𝟮𝟱𝟮𝟲 served as a valuable platform to engage with fellow organizations, share insights, and reinforce our commitment to advancing student welfare and campus initiatives.

This experience reaffirms the Peace and Development Student Organization’s core values of compassion, unity, and collective responsibility. These principles guide us not only in our organizational efforts but also as individuals preparing to contribute positively to our communities. We are thankful to be part of a student-driven movement that inspires, empowers, and brings everyone together.
